About Our Council

Saint Augustine Council was founded in 1897. It was named after St. Augustine who was born on November 13th 354 at Thagaste in Numidia (now Souk-Ahras in Algeria). The Council works closely with the Catholic community in Stamford, CT providing funds for various projects, members being active participants in several parishs activities.
